Villa Lisiduna
On the outskirts of the town of Leusden lies a former police station, slated for demolition to be replaced by housing for the elderly. What should this type of housing look like in the future? No longer retirees simply sit around and play cards all day, today's seniors are active, mobile and socially engaged. The project re-imagines how these faculties could be translated into architecture that is simultaneously playful with the tropes and cliche's of the typology of elderly housing.
